About Us...
Our Story
Collaboris is a dynamic and energetic company focused on the development of SharePoint Compliance and Deployment solutions. Collaboris was founded by three partners each with more than 15 years’ experience in IT. We have provided SharePoint Development & Consultancy Services to Enterprise customers such as Microsoft, the National Health Service (NHS), Telefonica, Universal Music Group and BAE systems.
One of our co-founders, Hugo Esperanca, also co-authored a book entitled ‘SharePoint 2010 Enterprise Architect's Guidebook’ released by Wrox Press in April 2012.
Our Products
We not only develop commercial solutions such as
DocRead, but also enjoy in giving back something to the community. We co-ordinate a number of open source projects such as the
SharePoint Action Framework, SharePoint Data Access Layer and
ShareTest. Our solutions are now used across 4 continents in industries such as Construction, Oil & Energy, Pharmaceutical, Telecoms, Health and Retail.

Meet our Management Team...
Mark Jones, Marketing Director & Founder
Mark is a SharePoint specialist with many years experience in developing and architecting solutions for a wide range of customers. Over the last few years Mark has been instrumental in taking Collaboris from a concept discussed over a meal to one that serves customers across 4 continents. Mark is also primarily responsible for marketing Collaboris to businesses adopting SharePoint throughout the world. He also manages the publication of SharePoint Newsletter and the SharePoint Forum group on LinkedIn.
Hugo Esperanca, CTO & Founder
Hugo is a hands on Microsoft Solutions Architect, specialising in SharePoint 2007/2010 enterprise solutions, with over 16 years experience. Hugo is the co-author of the new “SharePoint 2010 Enterprise Architect's Guidebook” available from Wrox books. He is also the lead architect on DocRead for SharePoint.
Helen Jones, Sales Director
Since joining Collaboris in 2008 Helen has been responsible for both new business development and Collaboris' sales strategy. Through this work (and a relentless drive to know DocRead from the inside out) she has become a DocRead product specialist giving her the unique ability to put the benefits it brings into real business terms. Helen is also a fully qualified Management Accountant (CIMA).
Paul Jobling, Non-Executive Director
Paul is a co-founder of Collaboris and now takes an advisory role on the board. He has extensive experience with leading development tools and over 15 years commercial development experience. He has accomplished full life cycles on numerous projects from initial conception, through customer liaison, systems analysis, design and development, programming, testing to implementation.
Jon Manderville, Non-Executive Director
An experienced and versatile IT consultant who has worked in a variety of IT disciplines for over 12+ years. Jon has worked with large finance companies, within the legal sector and also in government organizations. His big desire is to see DocRead used within these industries having seen the huge opportunities to help IT and Businesses become more cost effective and efficient when it comes to maintaining compliance.
