As the SharePoint 2013 Newsletter has got so popular and because there's more and more great developer content coming out hourly, we decided to let it overflow into a page dedicated to IT Pros. If you would like to submit your article, please let us know about it by submitting it here.
As with the other two discussions (aimed the other roles) we thought this would be a great way to get some insightful discussion brewing about what you like from a devs point of view. Discuss on LinkedIn.
In Part 2 of his series on Search, Tyler Bithell covers Content Sources. “A content source is a set of options that you use to specify what, when and how to crawl.”
When Search is initially configured the content source “Local SharePoint sites” is created, and as the name implies this includes all SharePoint sites in your farm. As you create additional web apps they are automatically added to this content source.
