System Requirements

DocRead for SharePoint 2010 Server (Foundation, Standard and Enterprise)

1. Requirements for DocRead
   
   
   • Operating System :
     DocRead can be installed on all operating systems supported by SharePoint 2010 Foundation Edition (and above).
   
   
   • Browser Client :
     The Browser Client requirements are exactly the same as for Microsoft SharePoint, i.e. Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.x, although we recommend using Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 or above. 
   
   
   • Software 
     • DocRead requires the following software to be installed and correctly configured :
       • Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 Foundation (or above). 
       • SQL Server 2005 or above. (SQL Server 2012 not currently supported).
       • 3.5 SP1 is required on all Web Front Ends and Application servers. 

DocRead for Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 (MOSS) (Standard and Enterprise)

1. Requirements for DocRead
   
   
   • Operating System :
     DocRead can be installed on all operating systems supported by MOSS 2007 Standard Edition (and above).
   
   
   • Browser Client :
     The Browser Client requirements are exactly the same as for Microsoft SharePoint, i.e. Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.x, although we recommend using Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 or above. Internet Explore 6 and below is NOT supported.
   
   
   • Software
     • DocRead requires the following software to be installed and correctly configured :
       • MOSS 2007 Standard (or above). Please note that only a 64 bit version is available, we don't support a 32 bit version.
       • SQL Server 2005 or above. (SQL Server 2012 not currently supported).
       • 3.5 SP1 is required on all Web Front Ends and Application servers.
