On Monday 1st August 2011, Collaboris launched their early adopter programme for DocRead. The programme is open to organisations that use SharePoint extensively for document collaboration and would benefit from using DocRead for ensuring that important organisation policies and compliance documents are read, tracked and recorded.

Now the Bribery Act is in full swing within the UK, it's started to claim it's first victims! Willis insurance has just been fined nearly £7 million pounds for failing to adequately comply with the Bribery Act laws.

Collaboris - developers of DocRead for SharePoint - have recently launched a brand new Bribery Act information portal to help organisations with their Bribery Act compliance. The portal highlights how easily DocRead can be used to distribute Bribery Act guidelines to groups of employees and other associated parties. The portal also contains background information on the Bribery Act as well as further guidance on the types of policies and procedures that are generally required, to help form an adequate defense against corrupt bribery practices.
